The that the only way that I could provide a similar experience to my students was to give them time to prepare at home and provide the opportunity to come to class to be exposed to the real deal. I dont remember ever being captivated in my classes by a grammar lesson but I do remember being engaged when I was able to understand and communicate in the language.
